First Baptist Church Saginaw
Darlene Berwick - Financial Secretary/Office Manager
Darlene is the Financial Secretary for First Baptist. As a result of being married to a career military husband, her college education spanned a period of ten years and three different states. She began her degree in Special Education and ended up in Business Admin and Accounting. Darlene has worked in the newspaper, advertising, and manufacturing industries before becoming a member of the support staff at FBC. During 12 years of thoroughly enjoying being a stay-at-home mom, Darlene wrote several children’s stories and ran a balloon and party planner business. The Berwick family relocated to Saginaw in 2001 and felt called to First Baptist before their move was complete. Paul and Darlene have been married almost 20 years and are blessed with a son, Jonathan and a daughter, Cate. They are active in the student ministries, Youth Choir, Orchestra, and Awana. Paul teaches a Sunday School class, and both he and Darlene participate in many of the FBC ministries as well as community events including the Boswell Band Boosters. We are delighted to be part of this family of believers and look forward to many more years of service in the life of First Baptist Church of Saginaw.
